The journey that took us an hour and a half on the way there took us 45 minutes to get home. At one point the passenger clocked that the speedo was reading 102mph! "

Someone named Vick who was responsible for the order lied to me and said the car is going to be late in 30 min, so I don’t cancel and take another taxi, although he knew it will be more than an hour. He lied several times and promised compensation. If you will not give me some kind of a refund I plan to sue. It is NOT the driver’s fault. "

"We requested a car seat (as there was an option to do so), but did not arrive. We were called the day before to confirm time and location and rediscussed car seat again at the time. The driver did not appear at reserved time nor did he contact the client to let them know they would be late. Additionally, we called both numbers in the confirmation email sent to us and had to leave voicemails to await a call back. Once in the vehicle, the driver asked the client for the postcode as he did not know the destination even though it was entered in the initial reservation/booking. Once the initial problems were ironed out, the journey was uneventful. "

"The driver was on time and waited for us when our flight was delayed and took a long time for us to clear passport control and get our luggage, which we appreciated. However, there was a huge mix-up with the meeting point. The driver called several times to give clear instructions on where we should meet him (“the orange car park”) but never mentioned on the phone that we needed to take the lift down two floors so we spent a lot of time in confusion looking for each other. If you pick up passengers from the airport and you know which flight they’re arriving by, please take the time to familiarise yourself with which terminal/floor/exit they will come out of because passengers are oftentimes completely unfamiliar with the local airport. Also, my assistant booked this car telling you exactly how much luggage we had but when we tried to fit all the luggage in the boot, it didn’t work - there was no room. So the driver told us we couldn’t fit the luggage in the boot and we couldn’t put it inside the car with us for insurance reasons. This poor planning is unacceptable. We resolved this but putting the small suitcase on our laps but this is really unacceptable for this standard of car and price. "

He suggested to me that i walk with all my luggage from where I was to Westminster bridge. Eventually he did not arrive and i had to abandon some of my luggage and walk to Victoria Station. A full refund better appear in my account soon or i will tali about this on social media. Appalling service "

But I really hate the services of taxicode for cancelling my cab on the very last moment when all my further bookings were already done for my trip. They forced me to pay £957 pound for an initial booking of £639. If they couldn’t book my cab why I received confirmation email. Seems like it was a complete fraud and I will never booking any services or advise anyone to book the services from taxicode. Pathetic service Fortunately the driver made up for the company and you should thank him for that. "

"I booked the taxi for 6.30pm knowing that my flight landed at 5.30pm. I did not provide my flight number as didn’t seem relevant. The taxi finally arrived at 7pm. The driver told me that they take the booking time as the flight landing time and therefore come half an hour later. I don’t understand this - either the app is unclear or the driver was just late. There was no meet and greet. He came to the Premier Inn outside the terminal and called us to tell us to meet him there. In spite of the fact that he was 30 mins late AND there is supposed to be a 45 min wait time built in, he kept calling and was rude about us taking our time to find him. In actual fact I had a last minute nappy change to deal with which we had told him but still he got grumpy. He was then grumpy all the journey causing an atmosphere in the cab. It was really expensive with prices hiked due to rail strike but coupled with really bad service made it really disappointing. Will avoid using again and this driver needs to be spoken to."

He was on time and very nice, it definitely was not his fault but don’t advertise a meet and greet if it’s not going to be delivered. It was a very late delayed flight and the family were exhausted. Schlepping around the undercroft of Luton was not what they needed. "

Then I called him and realised what car he was in. Journey took a little longer as we took the shortest route rather than the quickest. "Here is the email of complaint I sent to Leyton Cars (email: LeytonAcars@hotmail.com) on Sat 13 Aug which I have had no response to yet: I am writing to complain about the service we received today. Our driver arrived at 14.32 to pick us up even though we had booked to be collected at 13.45 and we were on time. He offered the excuse that traffic was very slow due to a train strike. I do not accept this excuse as the only reason I booked this car (4 days ago) was because of the train strike and the fact that the Stansted Express was not running. He should have anticipated the delays and left earlier to pick us up on time. He phoned at 14.17 and asked us to go outside the terminal building and wait for him, to avoid what would have been a further delay if he were to park up and meet us in the arrivals hall per what we had booked. We were standing outside in the extreme heat for 15 mins before he arrived. Given that we were liable to pay extra charges if we had been late, I think it would be reasonable to expect that we get a pro rata refund for the driver being so late, particularly as it was due was poor planning on his part. We were awear of the UK heat wave. Matters were made worse as the M23 had severe delays - why did our driver not check this beforehand? So all six of us had to sit in this minibus (two windows at the back that could only open an inch and no aircon) for an hour before we could actually get going. We did not get home till 5pm. Awful "

When I questioned this response the man changed his tune and said ok, he would change the address. I asked if I would get a confirmation email/sms and he said yes. A few days passed and no email/sms confirmation came and the app booking still showed the original pickup address. I tried calling back but nobody answered. Because I now had no faith that the booking had been correctly amended, I decided to cancel the booking in the app and make a new one with the new pickup address. The fare increased by over £20, despite the journey now being shorter. When I read your cancellation/refund policy it stated that I was only entitled to 50% of my original prepaid fare back. The second booking was with the same taxi company as the first and I was already being charged a higher fare for a shorter journey. I feel like I’ve been robbed by your service and policies. On top of this, in my booking I requested an infant car seat for my 1 yr old. No car seat was provided as the driver said that request was never given to him. It was your job to ensure that I had a car seat for this journey. My son had to sit on my lap for the journey which is obviously extremely unsafe and illegal, but you gave us no other choice than to miss our flight. I’m appalled by this experience. I’m totally appalled by your service and this experience."

I paid rate of £86.50 rather than opting for a £35 - £50 Uber where I have to make my way to the carpark and wait on level 4. • Please also note the confirmation DOES NOT state you will contact me on the phone first before you tell the driver to go into the arrival hall. 2). The booking form states a mobile number is only optional rather than mandatory; therefore, you should not be relying on a mobile to make contact. If your service does require this, it should have been clearly stated in the order form. 3). The taxicode states the company will check the flight arrival time; therefore, should have been in the arrival hall. 4). The booking states the fee I have paid includes 60 minutes of driver waiting time. I was expecting that waiting time to include after having checked the flight arrival time, the driver making the appropriate judgements around time to ensure he/she was parked in the carpark and WAITING for me when I walked out of custom and baggage collection. I expect to be reimbursed for the cost and compensated for your company putting my safety at risk given the very unfortunate killings of women in London recently; along with the inconvenience of having to catch a train into the city at that time and then not being able to find a black cab at Victoria (as my mobile phone had died I was not able to call and uber. Despite this, there were no black cabs available at Victoria and I then had to wait for a bus the 185 bus that commenced at 5.30am to get home. I landed at 3.30am and got home at 6.30am. In addition to the refund of my money, I request compensation for this. I would suggest £150 compensation: • Complimentary service to the value of what I paid • £20 for the bus and trains I had to catch • The remaining to make up for putting my safety at risk and the extreme inconvenience and discomfort of trying to get home with a luggage at 04:00 to 06:30j. When we arrived, he made a big point of saying everything was okay with my husband. When I mentioned his language, he did not apologize at all and referred to my behavior before we got in the car which made no sense because I was not involved in packing the boot, I merely showed him the booking information on my phone. I do feel this was racially motivated. He swore at my husband at the start of the journey for closing the boot not me. I am black, my husband is white. I didn’t appreciate the deference shown to my husband once he was proved wrong and the refusal to apologize (to me) for the inappropriate language. I will never use your company again and I will share my experience with friends and family. Using third parties is no excuse for the unpleasant experience we have just endured. "

The driver did not appear at reserved time nor did he contact the client to let them know they would be late. "The driver was on time and waited for us when our flight was delayed and took a long time for us to clear passport control and get our luggage, which we appreciated. However, there was a huge mix-up with the meeting point. The driver called several times to give clear instructions on where we should meet him (“the orange car park”) but never mentioned on the phone that we needed to take the lift down two floors so we spent a lot of time in confusion looking for each other. If you pick up passengers from the airport and you know which flight they’re arriving by, please take the time to familiarise yourself with which terminal/floor/exit they will come out of because passengers are oftentimes completely unfamiliar with the local airport. Also, my assistant booked this car telling you exactly how much luggage we had but when we tried to fit all the luggage in the boot, it didn’t work - there was no room. So the driver told us we couldn’t fit the luggage in the boot and we couldn’t put it inside the car with us for insurance reasons. This poor planning is unacceptable. We resolved this but putting the small suitcase on our laps but this is really unacceptable for this standard of car and price. "

"Here is the email of complaint I sent to Leyton Cars (email: LeytonAcars@hotmail.com) on Sat 13 Aug which I have had no response to yet: I am writing to complain about the service we received today. Our driver arrived at 14.32 to pick us up even though we had booked to be collected at 13.45 and we were on time. He offered the excuse that traffic was very slow due to a train strike. I do not accept this excuse as the only reason I booked this car (4 days ago) was because of the train strike and the fact that the Stansted Express was not running. He should have anticipated the delays and left earlier to pick us up on time. He phoned at 14.17 and asked us to go outside the terminal building and wait for him, to avoid what would have been a further delay if he were to park up and meet us in the arrivals hall per what we had booked. We were standing outside in the extreme heat for 15 mins before he arrived. Given that we were liable to pay extra charges if we had been late, I think it would be reasonable to expect that we get a pro rata refund for the driver being so late, particularly as it was due was poor planning on his part. I needed to amend the pickup address on my original booking. I phoned the number in the booking confirmation and was told no you can’t change the pickup address on a booking. A few days passed and no email/sms confirmation came and the app booking still showed the original pickup address. I tried calling back but nobody answered. Because I now had no faith that the booking had been correctly amended, I decided to cancel the booking in the app and make a new one with the new pickup address. The fare increased by over £20, despite the journey now being shorter. When I read your cancellation/refund policy it stated that I was only entitled to 50% of my original prepaid fare back. The second booking was with the same taxi company as the first and I was already being charged a higher fare for a shorter journey. I feel like I’ve been robbed by your service and policies. On top of this, in my booking I requested an infant car seat for my 1 yr old. No car seat was provided as the driver said that request was never given to him. It was your job to ensure that I had a car seat for this journey. My son had to sit on my lap for the journey which is obviously extremely unsafe and illegal, but you gave us no other choice than to miss our flight. I’m appalled by this experience. I’m totally appalled by your service and this experience."

The booking form states a mobile number is only optional rather than mandatory; therefore, you should not be relying on a mobile to make contact. If your service does require this, it should have been clearly stated in the order form. 3). The taxicode states the company will check the flight arrival time; therefore, should have been in the arrival hall. 4). The booking states the fee I have paid includes 60 minutes of driver waiting time. I was expecting that waiting time to include after having checked the flight arrival time, the driver making the appropriate judgements around time to ensure he/she was parked in the carpark and WAITING for me when I walked out of custom and baggage collection. I do feel this was racially motivated. He swore at my husband at the start of the journey for closing the boot not me. I am black, my husband is white. I didn’t appreciate the deference shown to my husband once he was proved wrong and the refusal to apologize (to me) for the inappropriate language. I will never use your company again and I will share my experience with friends and family. Using third parties is no excuse for the unpleasant experience we have just endured. "

"It was my mother's 75th birthday so I wanted something a bit special to take us and return us from a theatre in Central London. The car and driver more than delivered. It was a really nice, spacious car, and the driver was polite, well dressed, and totally efficient throughout the entire journey both ways. It really gave the occasion that bit more than usual and was greatly appreciated."

The information we delivered was costly as the driver took additional time to explain his requests of pick up station etc. Additionally, we had to walk to the car park to board the cab. The taxi driver never updated the arrival time only the flight number, then he mentioned several times that our flight was delayed. When we pointed out that the updates were given over the phone, he then told us he could not update the ETA, as that was third party, and he did not have that access. He said there was no extra charge and that was good. He gave his card for future travel reference. That was good. "
